You didn't describe Glitch's outfit, though. Well, besides the silk and velvet.
You know, I really thought about that one. First of all, my mental image of Glitch looks like a cross between an extra from Taming of the Shrew (the big splashy version with Burton & Taylor) and the prince from the 1960's Rogers & Hammerstein Cinderella. I wanted him to have big poofy sleeves with slashes to show another color underneath, sprayed-on pants, the whole nine yards. None of which really fits into the glorious steampunk world of Tin Man, alas, alack, welladay. I decided to leave it up to the reader to fill in the blanks. :-)
Btw, it's a credit to your skill as a writer that even though this is cliche!fic, it's thoroughly enjoyable and I was smiling goofily and all.
