Summary: Glitch takes his friends on an outing to find redemption.
Author's note: Response to the prompt "redemption." The reference to Unionism and Lurlinist Paganism comes from Wicked. Drabble table is here.
"Can you direct me to the nearest redemption center?" Glitch asked the woman in the shiny new Information Central booth.
"Unionist or Lurlinist?" she asked.
"I don't see how that's relevant," said Glitch, "but I'm a Transcendent Avatarist."
"A what?" Cain, Raw, and DG asked simultaneously.
"Transcendent Avatarism is the belief that the multiple pagan gods are manifestations of a single transcendent ground of reality," Glitch explained, which didn't seem to clarify the topic much for anyone.
"I don't think we have any of those in the guidebook," said the clerk.
"I'm not looking for a theological discussion," Glitch continued. "I want to redeem these. I found them in the bottom of a filing cabinet yesterday." He held up a stack of paper booklets with rows of small purple squares covering every page. "O & Z Purple Stamps."
The information clerk burst into an unexpected smile. "I haven't seen those in years!" she exclaimed. "Oh, that takes me back. My mother got a set of curtains with those, and a charm bracelet for me. I'm sorry, dear, I don't think the company exists any more."
Glitch smiled back. "That's all right. It was enough to find someone else who remembered."

I love how Glitch doesn't know how his religion is pertinent to the question but answers her anyway! And how his explanation of it "didn't seem to clarify the topic much for anyone."
This is awesome.
And oh boy do I remember S&H Green Stamps. They were a double-edged sword of fun and aggravation. Mostly aggravation. :D
