The actor who played DG's robo-Dad in Tin Man had a brief role in the BSG finale! He played the guy doing the lie-detector test when Adama was considering a civilian job. The captions gave his name as Frank.

I've seen so many directors, composers, writers and other famous people do cameos through the years.
And I bet you're good at spotting them, too! :-) I admire your knowledge. I've been having fun playing "spot-Stan-Lee" in a bunch of recent comic book movies.
You weren't kidding about him being in *everything*. That is quite a list!
My husband and I were watching the film "1941" on laserdisc one evening. I sat forward and asked him to pause the disc during a free-for-all huge fight scene. He wanted to know why. I told him I just saw James Caan. He looked at me like I was a madwoman.
"How can you possibly see James Caan in there? Hundreds of people are in this scene! James Caan isn't even acting anymore!" (At the time this was true.)
He backed up the laserdic and we stepped it through one frame at a time. I am sitting on the floor by now, so I can really see the TV.
"There is he is! Look, step it forward a few more frames so you can see him too."
My husband is also now sitting on the floor and peering intently at the TV.
"I don't believe you saw him! That is amazing! It IS James Caan!"
There was Jimmy. Dressed in a sailor suit like most of the other actors and not at all highlighted in the mass-of-humanity fight.
My husband kept asking me how I knew. Finally, sheepishly, I admitted that I recognized him because I know "how he moves". My husband knew I was telling the truth. He'd seen it happen through the years. I have this odd ability to be able to sometimes spot people based on their body english.
I know "how they move".
Years later my husband was reading an article interviewing Steven Spielberg. At one point he mentioned for years his neighbor was James Caan. Speilberg laughingly told of seeing Jimmy taking out his trash one night and on a whim he asked him if he wanted to be in this enormous fight scene he was filming the next day. Caan thought it would be fun so he showed up, suited him up and they filmed the him and left him in just a few frames of the film. Spielberg thought it was a hoot no one had ever noticed him. Not even after the film had been out for many years.
I'm good at spotting the makers of films. Once in a while I will spot someone who may not intend on being spotted if I happen to be familiar with "how they move". Heh.
I like to spot celebs in things but I'm not at all good at it. I haven't paid a lot of attention to actors before the past couple of years, literally, and I don't know what they look like, so it's harder for me to spot them. I play spotting Stan Lee, too; apparently he really enjoys those cameos!
