Nov. 28th, 2003 09:54 pmHave been perusing the unaptly-named "Flowing Sheet" archive of gen Aubrey-Maturin fic, and this story struck me very funny:

It isn't simply the absurdity that makes it funny; it's the very O'Brian-ish way it's told. It's short, too.
