Movie: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Saw this one at MediaWest with the gang there - TODS saw it with SIL around the same time. Fun popcorn flick. I was especially glad to see Karen Allen again.

Books: The Sea of Monsters, the Titan's Curse

These were the sequels to the Lightning Thief, and I liked them even better. They had the advantage that they didn't have to spend the first half of the book setting up the situation and could just jump right into the adventure. Great stuff.
