The mind boggles. I think I need to go reread that book. I don't remember it very well, except that I loved it to itty bitty pieces.

i can't tell if it's really going to happen or not. what i can see of the effort online (http://www.the-last-unicorn.net/) looks pretty weak. but anyway, they've cast mia farrow and jonathan rhys-meyers as molly and schmendrick. IMO the former is just too old for the part, and JRM is a prettyboy who i really worry can only play prettyboys. and i've also heard the unicorn's going to be played by a horse. -_- you'd in this day and a. they'd be able to do something faithful to what's in the novel with CG.

i love the book liek whoa (it's meta. it's comically anachronistic. it's got so much heart it ought to be an organ donor.). i've just finished re-reading it, and so am all fannish again and ready to be super-critical about the movie project.

i just went back to the IMDB site to check the casting info, and found this (http://www.conlanpress.com./html/books.html) linked off their message board. did you know there was a sequel? because holy crap, i did not.
