... we were recording Tin Man!
Mind you, we didn't actually watch it until January. And I found SO MUCH to treasure in the Outer Zone.
Tin Man gave me my fannish groove back. I'd written almost nothing for years, and somehow TM lit a fire under me and I wrote, and wrote, and wrote. I reached out in directions I hadn't imagined before, and I think I did some of my best fannish writing ever.
I was welcomed by a marvelous world of fans with a range of gifts and a well of generosity; the creative outpouring and the insightful, wide-ranging discussions were uplifting. To say nothing of the high-quality and generally civilized snark.
I made some dear friends with whom I still keep in touch, as well as others from whom I'd love to hear if they ever pop their heads into LJ again! Then I can say, "And you were there, and you, and you ..." Oh, Tin Man, I miss you most of all. ♥ ♥ ♥
