BSG "Crossroads" musical reference

*happy dance* I am full of win! I knocked hubby's socks off by recognizing that people were quoting "All Along the Watchtower" early in the episode.

I will admit that if they had been quoting obscure 13th-century Slavonic liturgical chant, *he* would have brought all the monks to the yard. But they weren't.

And now, like a lemming, I am buying the song from iTunes because it is stuck in my head and I have always liked it, anyway. There must be someplace on iTunes I can check - I wonder if it has shot up in sales since the episode aired?

I *adore* the arrangement of the song that they did for the episode. That entire last sequence of the ep blew me the frak way with its awesomeness. And I cannot wait for the soundtrack to come out so I can have that exact version of the song.

(Which I do already have an .mp3 of, although since it's directly from the show it has some dialogue & sound effects over it as well, but it is still awesome, and should you desire it as well I would be glad to hook you up.)

My very good friend b2creative has been nagging at me FOREVER to watch the new Battlestar Galatica. I've been very remiss in doing so. It's one of those things that I'll get to eventually! Good to see there are others that enjoy it too!
