Drabble: Spinning Round

Title: Spinning Round
Pairing: Glitch/Wyatt
Note: Response to the tinman100 challenge to find inspiration in the America song "Tin Man"; I'm basing this on the line "Spinning round, round, round." Originally posted here.


It was his favorite dream.

He was Ambrose again, zipperless, graceful. He and Cain were dancing, moving so skillfully together that they seemed to be floating in circles around the ballroom. Everything else was a blur; it was like being inside a snowglobe. He wanted it to go on forever.

He awoke into confusion. Groping for the last traces of the dream, he caught only mist. He cried out in disappointment and loss.

A light snapped on. "You all right there, sweetheart?" Cain was blinking at him from the other side of the bed.

All was right with the world.
