Title: Through and Through

Notes: Response to the tinman100 challenge to incorporate the line of dialogue "What is that thing?" (Originally posted here.) Not very explicit, but if your imagination follows mine, it leads straight to the gutter. Enjoy!


"What. Is. That. THING?"

"It's a ring," Glitch said, as if that were obvious.

"Rings go on fingers. And ears. That is neither!" Cain shuddered. "Does this have anything to do with the zipper?"

"With the zipper?" Glitch was bewildered. "No, I had it before. It was a gift from a grateful Grand Duchess for services rendered."

"What kind of—-wait, I don't want to know." Cain suddenly turned pink. "But I would like to know…"

"Hm?"

"Does it … um… "

"Oh, just spit it out, Cain."

"… scrape? Your partner? On the inside?"

"One way to find out."
