In the course of putting together the fic meme, I realized a piece of trivia I should probably share with the world (or at least my flist): To the best of my knowledge, I wrote the first Doctor Who slash story ever published. It was called "The Unkindest Slash of All," it appeared in LIEUTENANT'S LOG in the early 1990's, and it featured the line, "Harry! You wouldn't guess what I've got two of, other than hearts!"

I have a friend who would be... well, I don't know. Maybe amused. Then again, she writes trios (and she used to be a gen-er) so maybe it wouldn't phase her.

You know, that's one of the things that weirds me out about Fandom in the Age of Teh Intarweb. I was in fandom as a gen fan for *years* before I got into slash. Kids these days *start out* with that stuff. It's like skipping the wine coolers and going straight to Everclear (the drink, not the rock band).

And I have to ask...which Doctor? (I immediately assumed Four because of the icon, and then I thought Seven, for, well, no reason in particular except that I like Seven.)

Well, I suppose I *should* be, but I don't think anyone knows about it.

You might've also assumed Four because of the reference to Harry, and you'd be right. But I do adore Seven! I didn't like Mel, but I adored Ace.

For some reason, I'm absolutely *terrible* at remembering which companions and side characters match up with which Doctor. About the only one I remember with any consistancy is Ace with Seven.
