"Not another one!" groaned DG, holding an invitation.

"Hey, being the unwilling repository of ancient evil didn't get me out of any ribbon-cutting ceremonies," said Azkadellia.

"You did that?"

"Sure. It was fun. There was this one cheese factory--the foreman was abusing the workers." Azkadellia smiled. "So I got the Witch to drown him in that metal trough they pour all the whey into."

DG remembered a diner manager who used to pat her butt all the time. Would've been nice to drown him like that. Her smile matched Azkadellia's.

"Never mind, girls," said the Queen hastily. "I'll go."
