Oct. 22nd, 2004 09:20 amI appreciate all the responses to my last post! And no, I don't think any of you are paranoid - I feel the same way. My fic site, Flammantia Moenia Mundi ("the flaming ramparts of the world" - it started as a site for my Emergency slashfic) is meta-tagged so as not to be picked up by search engines, and the majority of my fic still goes into zines.
My first thought was to go to www.feyworld.com, but it's just a placeholder. I should have thought of googling - it's what I usually do! - so I'm glad y'all suggested it. I got only a handful of hits, mostly comments on Library of Moria. Apparently she's a LOTR fan, which I should have guessed from the name. That makes me feel a LOT better, since my LOTR stuff is out there on a variety of archive sites and is a lot easier to find than most of my other 'Netfic. So I don't feel paranoid that she found me.
But I don't feel inclined to have my stuff on her site, either; it's on the Axe_Bow archive and a few other places and that's enough for me. As
shawan_7 says, one has very little control over other people's sites and how they present one's material.
