When you get into Lorelei's truck, you never quite know *where* in Houston you're going to end up. This time it was a place in the arts-warehouse district that she discovered through geocaching. It was full of giant heads of presidents. And giant Beatles. I was reasonably certain you wouldn't believe me without photos, so here they are!

The sculptor's name. This sign is actually on the building across the street from the lot where his presidential heads and Beatles and things are.

Ladies and gentlemen - the giant Beatles!

Giant Beatles in context.

A new band: Ringo and the Roosevelts! (The "ON" on the left-hand side is part of a sculpture reading "We [heart] Houston". The tree-like object is made of painted metal or something with fabric bands, similar to Ace bandages, folded in curlicue patterns that look surprisingly like leaves from a short distance.)
We also had dinner at the Red Lion Pub, which was underwhelming but highly edible, and visited a Staples to pick up post-it notes (for some orphan zines I want to drop off tomorrow).

OMG! Totally!!! They had no frozen drinks, but I don't think Raw would find that disappointing.
