amediaWell, I had to search past several boxes of "King of Queens" and "Mad About You," but I got the box of Total cereal with the Barney Miller DVD!!!! We watched it tonight.
They picked two of the episodes that I have on my slashy pimping tape, so I was very pleased. :-) "Tunnel" marks the appearance of Yenta Barney, with lines such as:
"You (Harris & Dietrich) spent a long time in close quarters - it's only natural there should be some friction."
and
"Gentlemen (i.e., H&D), can we get back to work? There will be plenty of opportunities for you to be together."
"Obituary" has the very cute scene where H&D go sit on Yemana's desk together while the victim and assaulter rant at Barney. I've seen that scene several times while making and copying and showing the pimping tape, and I noticed something odd - Total left something out! Originally, in the version of the episode that I have on the pimping tape, Mr. Bergendall said that he read the mistaken obituary while he was eating his Life cereal. They very neatly snipped that reference out.
Seems rather insecure of them to me.
