metherion called me up earlier this evening, very amused, to see if we'd watched the latest House yet, and when I confessed that we hadn't, he practically ORDERED us to watch it ASAP and then tell him what we thought!

OK, you have to believe me - about a minute before House said, "You're dating ME!" I was thinking the Exact Same Thing!!! When Wilson saw Amber bullying the maitre d' and smiled fondly, I thought, "OMG! She's HOUSE! And that's what he loves about her! How slashy is that!" And they actually led up to it rather nicely in the previous episode when Foreman was reeling off how House rudely was treating Cate and Wilson said, "that's courtship for House", and Foreman said - and I loved this! - "he's been courting me for years"! It was very similar to what happened in this episode with House reeling off Amber's personality traits and then realizing he was naming his own.

BWA HA HA HA HA HA!!!! And Cuddy got to be her own woman and say smart funny painfully true not-fronting-for-House things to Wilson (the chalk line speech) - I really liked that. Full of win!
