I'm so relieved to be out from under that project! I want to WRITE! At least drabbles. :-)

So give me a prompt and a fandom. I'm in the mood for fluff; gen or slash is fine. Night Vale, Sherlock, Tin Man, Rat Patrol, Barney Miller, any other fandom in which you know I've written. If you're not sure, feel free to ask.

Any or all fic is welcome, and if it hadn't been for what to me was a great idea about the two, I would have refrained from requesting anything to not seem as if I only responded to something where I might greedily gain something for myself.

Oh my goodness! Now, that's a different way of looking at it. From my perspective, I seem to be selfish when I ask for prompts, because they help me write. To be honest, I think the stories I've written for other people's prompts are often better than the ones I come up with by myself. Some sort of "hybrid vigor" going on, maybe?

So the fact that the person gets a ficlet written to their suggested specifications seems like fair payment to me, for what I've greedily gotten for myself! (Namely, ideas and opportunity and a guaranteed audience of at least one.)

If someone else wants to write something more based on your thoughts or their own ideas, I'm all for it.

Me too! I did post the fic to AO3, and added a note to that effect. I'd love to see what other people do with this idea.

Then again, you do realize that there should be fic of Glitch as Sherlock and Cain as Watson if there already isn't, right? I can't remember any, would you know if there is?

I don't remember seeing any. There totally should be!
